Presidium Moissanite Tester is based on the technology of capacitance to measure electrical displacement. PMT has a highly sensitive measuring probe made of special grade polymer designed specifically for identification of synthetic moissanite mounted on metals.
Presidium recommends the use of the Presidium Moissanite Tester after a positive test result for diamond is indicated on a thermal conductivity diamond tester (such as the Presidium Diamond Mate Tester).
